STORY OF THE MANULUA LOGO DESIGN

(positioned on the back of your tee)

The company's logo was designed to reflect the many aspects of the environment in the beautiful Pacific Islands.

The three mountains represent the land and watershed area that supply the islands with pristine water, rivers and waterfalls.

The two coconut tree represent the plants, rain forests and tree life.

The waves represents the beautiful Pacific Ocean and coral reefs.

The motif in the sky is the Manulua symbol. Literally speaking it represents two birds and the animal life that exists in the Pacific. Metaphorically however, this motif is found on tapa cloth in Samoa and Tonga and represents the coming together of two peoples. In this instance one of those peoples are living in the islands protecting and consering our land, the other group have a passion to see our islands thrive but are not living there.

We are passionate about sustaibility and want you to look after your clothing to keep it in good condition so you have it longer.

To best keep your tee in great condition, follow these two tips.

      1. Turn your tee inside out when putting in the wash, that way you protect the print from getting damaged, and also get any sweat marks washed out.

      2. Wash in cold water.

      3. Try not to use a dryer, if you do, use the lowest temperature. Heat can harm prints for all tees including this one.

      * The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.
